Regions
Five regions of Mongolia.
Each region has its own seasons, terrain, and length. Pick where you want to be, and how many days you have.
We run trips across all of Mongolia, but the country isn't a single trip. The land changes – from the Khangai mountains in the centre, to the dunes and canyons of the Gobi, to the taiga of the north, to the Altai in the far west. Each region rewards a different kind of attention. Below, the five regions we lead, with the itineraries we offer in each.
Where in Mongolia
Five regions, one country.
Mongolia is 1,500 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar to the Altai. The 24 itineraries we run cover five regions; each one is a different week of the country.
