Why a custom trip.
Our fixed itineraries are deliberate – six tours we have run many times, in regions and seasons we know. Most trips fit into them.
Some don't. If you have specific dates, a specific group, a specific subject – photographing eagle hunters in Bayan-Ölgii, riding through Khangai for two weeks, taking your family to Khövsgöl in late August – the answer is to design the route around what you actually want.
Custom trips are not more expensive than fixed ones. They are not faster, either. They take the same care.
How it works.

Talk to Baska.
Send us a message with your dates, your interests, the size of your group, and anything that has to be in the trip. The first conversation is to understand what you want and what is possible in the months you are traveling.

Baska designs.
Baska writes a route: regions, days, ger camps, drivers, families along the way. The first draft comes back to you within a week. You change what you want changed. We do this until the route fits.

We confirm and schedule.
When the itinerary is right, we schedule it. Pricing comes after the route is fixed – consultative, not from a price list. Deposit, balance, and cancellation terms are agreed at this stage.

Buya leads on the road.
Buya joins you in person closer to your trip. Drivers are people we have worked with for years. Families along the way know you are coming. The route changes if the weather changes.
